Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, Cem Demirer is a London based writer/director and cinematographer.

 

In 2014 he moved to London, UK to pursue his interest in filmmaking and entered MA Filmmaking program at the prestigious London Film School, from which he graduated with merit in 2017.

Cem worked as a cinematographer on various short and feature films, commercials, essay films, music videos and documentaries. His work has taken him to various countries including Malaysia, France, Kazakhstan, Guatemala, UK, South Africa and Portugal.
